Travelling flowers
Most flowers are not allowed to be brought into Western Australia as quarantine is very strict, but in most cases they can be taken out of Western Australia. I've had roses go to Africa, I've had arrangements go to outback Western Australia, and to Sydney and the Eastern states and they travel well with the right preparation.
The smaller things like single roses and rose arrangements are put into individual vials so they can last the distance, and arrangements can be boxed and then protected by a shoebox or something similar so they can be carried as hand luggage and arrive in good shape at the other end.
So let me quote you and give you some ideas on this to surprise and delight someone you are visiting.
